How to recaulk teak decks?
The first job is to cut out all the old rubber from the seams. We have special tools that enable us to accurately cut each seam, without making it excessively wider.
Once all the rubber is cleaned out, then each and every seam must be primed with a special primer, to make sure that the new rubber will adhere strongly to the teak.
All the seams are then filled with the rubber sealant, using compressed-air guns. When the rubber has cured, then the whole deck is sanded flat, to look as good as new.
This procedure will work only when there is sufficient thickness of teak remaining, and provided that water is not trapped beneath the deck. -

How to repair teak decks?
In the case of damage to the teak planks due to splitting, accidents with heavy objects or even just high heels we can replace parts of the deck.
After the teak planks are changed, the seams are finished as in the described recaulking procedure. -
